Blinksale

BlinksaleOk this is an application that I have used and holy crap its so cool. I generally hate invoicing. Those Word document invoices are just so cheesy and crappy and besides that, its a pain to have to generate all the content over and over for each invoice. Enter Blinksale. Blinksale invoices are typically sent via email. You may also print and snail-mail your invoices if that’s your thing. You can setup recurring invoices, send thank you messages.. It makes invoicing fun.

Blinksale is perfect for anyone who needs to invoice clients for services or products sold. Blinksale is an excellent choice for attorneys, accountants, designers, IT professionals, software developers, journalists, contractors, engineers, architects, videographers, and more. Basically, if you need to send invoices, Blinksale can work for you.

The interface is really smooth and the Ajax is tastefully used for just the essentials. I love the fact that you don’t have to go through tedious processes of adding products and vendors and suppliers etc etc beforehand. You can create your first invoice in seconds and the joy of Ajax means fewer page reloads and quicker response times. Also, Blinksale integrates with your Basecamp clients. Rocking.

Their pricing plans are awesome and definitely within even the smallest of small business budgets.

Blinksale is a great tool for sending invoices to my clients. Combined with Timepost it’s also a great way to manage time spent on projects!

Or you could use Time59 (http://www.time59.com) which combines timetracking, on-line invoicing, and accounts receivable.
