Ooh, I’m going to have a lot of fun with this web application. BillQ is an awesome way to keep track of what you owe and to whom. Tastefully implemented Ajax allows you to quickly get up to speed with you initial list of bills and then you can subscribe to the RSS feed of your bills to make sure you never miss a payment. They have a couple of great tools too that I imagine will be added to in the near future. You can setup email and SMS reminders that’ll pester you until you make your payment. There’s also a cool bookmarklet that you can use to easily add a bill to the list of stuff to be paid. Awesome stuff.

billQ is a new web-based application that gives you an easy way to keep track of your bills. With billQ, you always know exactly what you have to pay, and when you have to pay it. It’s FREE. I love the thought, “It’s free, you have enough bills”. Clever. A nice feature of BillQ is that your bills can be grouped into sections like, ‘magazine subscriptions’, ‘insurance payments’ etc, so that you can easily manage large amounts of bills. The lightboxy effects are not overdone, but remain useful. The design is clean and simple which always works. As a whole, the site works very well and caters for a very specific niche that I think has been left largely untouched. Nice work lads.
